The Tai Chi Principles
We often discuss the Tai Chi Principles in class. The principles are based on teachings from an ancient Chinese text, so often get translated in different ways and may be interpreted as anywhere from three to fifteen principles. At their core they are the same points we should focus on when practising Tai Chi. Choosing one principle at a time to focus on as you practise Tai Chi can help you to improve your Tai Chi form, and feel a deeper connection to your qui energy. In this video Dr Paul Lam explains his breakdown of Six Tai Chi Principles and how you can use them to improve your Tai Chi.
If you find any Tai Chi videos online that you found particularly helpful, please let us know so we can share them.
